  The retail parking is a scam. I parked in the parking spots for "retail store only", and went to their coffee shop on the first floor at the corner of their building. But still, my car got towed and was charged $218. There was no note left at the parking spots, no security on site for me to complain to, and I could only find the leasing office number on the wall but no one was picking up from 1-3pm on a regular weekday.<br>DO NOT PARK HERE if you are going to any stores in this complex

  I enjoyed living in this apartment for two years overall. The one-bedroom unit was spacious, with a large bathroom and plenty of storage and closet space. If you are budget-conscious, this could be a great option. The rent is relatively reasonable for the area, and one parking spot is included (which is often charged separately elsewhere). Management is also fair with annual rent adjustments, sometimes increasing less than market rate or even keeping it the same.<br><br>As with most US apartments, some noise from upstairs can be heard, but overall the building and neighborhood are quiet and peaceful.<br><br>The location is convenient. While it's right by the road (so there may be a slight wait when driving out), it offers easy access to New York and surrounding areas.<br><br>There's also an amazing cafe on the ground floor. Their croffles and desserts are my favorites.

  One of the biggest highlights of living here is the superintendent, Rob. He is professional, responsive, and genuinely cares about the residents. Anytime there has been a maintenance request or concern, Rob has handled it quickly and efficiently. He's friendly, approachable, and always willing to help, which makes a huge difference in apartment living.<br><br>The management team does a solid job of keeping the property in good shape, and common areas are consistently tidy. Overall, Metro Apartments is a comfortable and reliable place to live in Fort Lee, and having someone like Rob on-site gives extra peace of mind.<br><br>I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a well-managed building in the area.

  I've had a great experience at The Metro in Fort Lee! The building is modern, clean, and very well maintained. The apartments are spacious with great natural light and solid finishes. I especially appreciate how responsive and professional the management team has been -- any questions or maintenance requests have been handled quickly and efficiently.<br><br>The location is also a huge plus. The flower shop is amazing. The coffee place is excellent. It's convenient to NYC, close to shops and restaurants, and in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The common areas are kept tidy, and the overall atmosphere in the building feels comfortable and welcoming.<br><br>I would absolutely recommend The Metro to anyone looking for a well-managed apartment community in Fort Lee. Definitely a 5-star experience!
