  Jimmy was recommended to me by my designer. I had 4 rooms painted. Cost more than expected but he was responsive and his guys did a good job. My only criticism is that I asked him to use a more eco-friendly or zero VOC paint. He said he doesn't use them because they don't work as well. I ended up feeling unwell for 3.5 weeks after the painting was done despite keeping all windows open and fans going. I should have done my research because I later found out that eco-friendly paints can be as good or superior to regular paint. If Jimmy had agreed to use an eco-friendly paint I would have given 5 stars.

  Thank you for your feedback--I appreciate you sharing your experience. Paint selection is an important part of the process, and we always focus on durability for our clients. That said, we understand and are sorry we didn't meet your preference for a more environmentally friendly product in this case.   Jimmy and his team are excellent. I've worked with a number of different painting companies in the area and J Canabe has the best customer service and exceptional work product. Cannot recommend them more highly!

  Unprofessional. We scheduled a call today (10/11) and never received a call or explanation. Guess they don't want business!<br><br>Their response to my review also shows how disorganized they are as a company. If only they channeled the same energy into honoring their online bookings as they do with defensively responding to reviews. FWIW, we booked and confirmed a slot to discuss a unit in Hudson County and I provided all contact information (e.g., address, phone, etc.), so not sure what's not clicking here.

  Jimmy Canabe painting contractors was recommended to me from a realtor friend who has used his services and seen lots of his finished projects and said excellent comments about his detail , reliability , meticulousness and work ethic. All of that was true. He has multiple painters on his staff they were accountable timely , organized , neat , honest and did an exceptional job<br>I've worked with many vendors in past , this paint contractor impressed me greatly. The honesty and reliability is second to none . The work product was gorgeous. Jimmy is someone you will be glad you employed for your painting needs .   I had an excellent experience with J Canabe Painting earlier this week. The crew showed up on time, completed the job efficiently and were a pleasure to work with overall. Jimmy, the owner was also understanding of my need to reschedule from the original date of painting due to unexpected circumstances on my end. The job consisted of interior painting of multiple rooms as well as patching a few holes. Fair pricing and very responsive company.
