  This is totally out of character for me and i hate giving a bad review to anyone. Last night i noticed that there was some water building up in my basement stand up shower drain. I tried using a plunger and i was able to get some of the water to go down. This morning i called my plumber to stop by and check it out, but he was too busy and wouldn't be able to get to me until Friday. He said that he would recommend someone and he gave me the number of General Sewer & Video. Called them on the way to the doctor (suffering from sciatica pain all day) and the very Pleasant lady on the other side of the phone told me that she would be able to send me somebody later on in the afternoon and if she would give me about half an hour notice before he got there. I was very excited because although I didn't ask her for them to be there today, she had offered to have somebody there today.   For the past few months I have had 4 companies come out to my residence to have different work done. I have needed our drain cleaned and our sewer cleaned...I could never find anyone to fix the problem completely and always had to make a call to have someone return, until I found this GEM General Sewer Service. The drain constantly would back up and I needed this fixed....Their receptionist was so helpful and promised me that the work would be done correctly and there would be no need for me to make a follow up call. Their technician arrived 30 minutes earlier than the window I was given which is always a plus. He took a look around and figured out the problem and in about an hour everything was back working and he was out the door. I have nothing but great things to say about this company. I would recommend them to anyone... They are absolutely amazing. I am so happy I mad that call.... THANK YOU DENISE!!!

  Tech was not able to unclog the drain. Damaged the toilet they removed and did not re-install it. Damaged the bathroom door moldings on both sides due to carelessness while snaking the line. Talked incessantly so as to run up the bill. Each time he went out to his truck he had a cigaret to waste more time and left his butts on our sidewalk. Left all the soaked rags, soaked cardboard and mess all over the place when he left.

  My plumber couldn't figure-out why I had a sewer odor and recommended I call General. They responded within an hour, thoroughly looked at multiple possibilities and correctly diagnosed my issue. I thought their price was very reasonable for the level of service I received.
