This restaurant is located inside Mitsuwa Marketplace in the food court. I grabbed a quick lunch and ordered the Pork Cutlet Bowl. The service was friendly and food came out fast. It tasted flavourful, would have given a higher rating but the pork cutlet was small and had more egg, so I did't finish eating the rice.

So disappointing. This place used to be pretty good place to order teishoku. Ordered the tonkatsu and it was so thin and way overcooked. Tonkatsu used to be double the thickness. It's too bad.

Wateishoku Kaneda at Mitsuwa is a solid spot with a lot to choose from. I got the tonkatsubowl, which was right up my alley -- I really like that sweet egg-and-onion flavor you get in Japanese cooking. I'm always surprised by how long the line is next door at the ramen place, because this place is just as good, and honestly better at times.<br>If you're in the area and the ramen shop has a wait, give this one a try. Worth it. Fair warning though: the Mitsuwa food court gets crowded, so be intentional about grabbing a table before you commit to eating there.<br>Overall, a good experience. Food is solid, service is fine, and the atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from a market food court.
