Went through a real estate transaction with my in-laws. Riverview served as the title agency (chosen by the other side of the transaction). Absolutely horrendous. They got hacked and didn't notify anyone until we confronted them. Then, they were supposed to wire the money the same day of the transaction; the receiving firm was waiting for them to call and confirm instructions yet Riverview never did. Which is even more concerning since there was attempted wire fraud during the transaction... and we were hoping they didn't just send the wire while confirming the wrong instructions with the criminals. We tried to call them but they had left the office. We needed to call them the next morning and the person processing was in late and didn't process the wire until mid-day. Luckily the attempted wire fraud was thwarted and everything worked out eventually but they were painful to work with. Real estate agents and attorneys should look for a different title partner for their transactions.
