  We had a great experience using Kate White as our realtor when purchasing a new home this fall. We found her to be confident and professional, with a keen eye and attention to detail. Kate brought to light to the pros and cons of specific properties which we may not have considered on our own. She did her research on local market trends and provided us with a realistic expectation for what we should expect to pay, letting us know when a listing was overpriced or spot on. She was personable and always available to answer questions (of which we had many!). She also referred us to reputable companies for the home inspection. In summary, Kate helped make a typically stressful process run as smoothly as can be, and we definitely recommend her if you are in the market for a NY or CT realtor.

  Kate was an absolute pleasure to work with when searching for and purchasing our new home in Ridgefield, CT. She is professional, responsive and patient, which is extremely important, particularly considering the present state of the market. Kate graciously previewed properties for us and very quickly learned our likes and dislikes, must haves and negotiables. With Kate's assistance, we found our perfect forever home.

  We couldn't have asked for a better Realtor when we selected Kate to help us find our new home. Kate gave us honest opinions and information throughout our search. Never once did she try to push us into a purchase, she listened to what we wanted and helped us make our decision. When we chose to make an offer Kate presented us with a detailed list of sale prices to ensure we did not over pay. (by detailed I do not mean the standard list that most realtors print out, this was an organized list full of information to help us negotiate).<br><br>After we had an accepted offer Kate was always available to help out.<br>She helped us coordinate all the inspections and was extremely flexible in being able to meet these inspectors at the house. If she couldn't answer one of our questions herself, she would quickly find someone who could.<br><br>Kate is extremely knowledgeable, organized, and professional.   We worked with Kate to sell our home as well as purchase a new one -- and the experience was amazing! She is extremely personable, was always willing to fit us into her schedule (no matter how many houses we asked to see), and made the selling and buying process super smooth. We have given her information to friends and family because we enjoyed working with her so much and would absolutely recommend her for her expertise, knowledge, skills and overall wonderful personality. 10/10 would work with her again!

  I was extremely lucky to be referred to Kate by a friend of mine. Kate helped me find my very first home! She was super helpful, reliable, available, professional, and kind. I really appreciated her communication. If I emailed or texted her, she'd be right on it and get back to me pretty immediately. Kate was also always available to show me a home. Being new to the state where I purchased my home, she was able to give me great referrals to home services. Even weeks after I closed on my home, I still text her some questions about my home and she happily responds and helps. So nice of her! If you want a great overall experience in looking for and buying your home, go with Kate!

  Somehow Kate White from Houlihan Lawrence in Brewster was assigned to assist me in my house search. I had been going to house viewings as one-offs for years, in a general target area, but never worked with a particular realtor. Once I DID dig deep and told Kate my detailed needs and distastes, she somehow zeroed in on viewings I'd LOVE. It was an impossibly hot house market in CT in August/September 2020; the day something hit the market there'd be numerous offers and one had NO chance. But Kate showed me listings on the day something hit the market! I think she fed me listings perhaps for, no kidding --start to finish -- a total of 2 weeks before i made an Offer that won me my dream house. Kate was there for me at all hours before my closing a month later when I'd text her with the slightest concerns. She somehow got me in for every pre-closing visit i requested for planning purposes. She was knowledgeable on the areas i targeted in CT and on customs I'd never known before about realt
