  I would NOT recommend Dr. Asit K. Shah based on our experience. We went to him for a hip evaluation after another doctor believed a family member's severe pain was coming from the hip.<br><br>Dr. Shah told us he had the MRI results and said the hip only showed mild arthritis and that the pain was coming from the spine. What concerned me most was that he did NOT physically examine the patient at all before reaching that conclusion.<br><br>After leaving, I looked at the document he had referred to and was shocked to see that it was not the actual MRI report--it was a plain piece of paper with the patient's information on it.<br><br>We went to a hip specialist expecting a thorough evaluation, especially for someone who had been suffering in severe pain. Instead, we left feeling completely dismissed and unheard.<br><br>Thankfully, we continued seeking answers and found another doctor who actually listened and properly evaluated the problem.<br><br>Based on our experience, I would strongly

  I am very thankful to Dr. Shah and his team. A total knee replacement had been a long time coming for me. Although I was initially apprehensive about moving forward, meeting with Dr. Shah and his team gave me the confidence to proceed with the surgery.<br><br>From my first consultation to my discharge after surgery, the entire experience was seamless. I was well-informed about what to expect and cared for by a highly professional team.   WOW, its 3 years after my last knee repacement with Dr. Asit Shah (my personal SUPERHERO); getting ready to do the other knee soon and this website is absolutely AMAZING! I have absolutely NO fear, no anxiety and im actually looking SO FORWARD to having 2 good knees to live with! Incredible site with all the information anyone could possibly need; thank you Dr Shah and your awesome Team!

  I just received a bill for over 4,000$ for a visit in which shah sent a different doctor to see me .x ray's were taken but I wasn't even examined .now I'm dealing with a claim issue .very disappointed

  Very bad experience - went in and was told about the problem - he then said an x-ray needs to be done even though he was told it was already done and the files were provided before the appt. He insisted so it was done and charged then was told it was not his speciality and so will refer to another doctor. This 100% should have been obvious before visiting and before doing a second scan and charging for it - would definitely not recommend.
