  I had a very disappointing experience. I paid $250 for tax preparation services, but after I was asked to provide additional information that I couldn't obtain, the preparer told me he couldn't continue without it. I decided to withdraw, and he agreed to refund my payment.<br><br>When I followed up about the refund a week later, his attitude changed completely. Instead of honoring the refund he had agreed to, he became defensive and unprofessional. He told me he would not refund the full amount and, "out of courtesy," would only return $80 of the $250. He then asked me to wait until the end of tax season to contact him.<br><br>I respected his request and reached out again, but received no response. When I contacted him again later, he replied that he was on vacation and would be back by the 7th. After waiting again, I tried reaching out once more, only to discover that my messages would no longer go through and my calls were unsuccessful. It appears I was blocked.<br><br>The lack of co
