Processing of claims is done inconsistently and often incorrectly with mistyped codes requiring more information. Ever since I started COBRA coverage, it's been a constant struggle. I've been dealing with back and forth between insurance and Drayer/Upstream physical therapy on these claims and it's extremely frustrating after 4 months of this to have to explain the situation again and be told to lower my volume while speaking. (As if I was screaming, name calling and/or belittling this person, instead of just firmly explaining my frustration.) The insurance company says they need notes from PT for service dates dating back to February-June, but they have approved and paid other claims from the same PT sporadically and as recently as July. They told me I should have been checking the EOBs and getting in touch with the PT, which is exactly what I have been doing. PT told me to wait up to 60 days for claims to go through again so I did. Insurance tells me they also don't cover maintenance

Thank you Robbin G. You have exceptional customer service.<br><br>Today (1/3/24) I called UFCW in regards to a Certificate of Coverage letter from my former insurance to my husband's insurance. Robbin was on the ball. Little to no wait time when I called. The representative, Robbin was direct and efficient. She was kind and courteous. Often times I feel as though insurance companies can come off distant and cold, but my experience today with UFCW was great. She even stayed on the line and made sure she had received the email and gave me a verbal that she had received it. I really appreciate how smoothly everything was done.<br><br>Thanks UFCW!
