My children have been patients of South River Pediatrics for more than 17 years, and during that time the practice always stood out for its personal touch, attentive staff, and the genuine sense of care that made families feel supported. Like many longtime parents, I was concerned when Dr. Baig sold the practice to Zarminial Pediatrics. I tried to keep an open mind, fully expecting some changes to come with new ownership.<br><br>However, over time I've felt that the practice has lost the personal, family-centered feel that made South River Pediatrics so special. The environment now feels much more corporate, and that shift has been noticeable even from a patient's perspective. The lack of front desk staff and nursing support has been significant, and honestly, I feel for the team members who are still there. They seem stretched thin, and that kind of strain inevitably leads to burnout and a decline in the level of patient attention that once set this office apart.<br><br>I truly hope t

We love love love this doctors office and the front staff they always make us feel comfortable and welcome. Our kids actually enjoy going there. They have the best doctors always caring and understanding they listen to you and give you time to answer any questions. The office is always clean and welcoming. When I call to make an appointment it's quick and efficient. Love everyone here. Truly. So happy my kids go here.

We have been going to Dr. Mickens for 2.5 years with absolutely no complaints. She listens to our concerns, addresses any issues with care and realistic solutions, and never pressures us to make uninformed decisions. Throughout this time, the practice has been super kind, but we truly go for Dr. Mickens expertise.
