The ramen in general is good enough but a little bit salty to me. However it's not worth the long line.

Great Ramen shop in NJ. The food is authentic. The broth is always rich, flavorful and tasty. The egg noodles are cooked just right and have a good consistency. The pork is tender, but the salt level can vary depending on the day, sometimes too salty. The service is fast, consistent and friendly. Overall awesome place for delicious ramen that can get quite busy. Expect a wait if you come during peak dining hours, especially for weekends. Seating can be limited if the food court is busy.

Always consistent and good ramen. Great broth and Hakata style straight noodles. Nice to have natto rice with the ramen. Feels like you are in Japan.

Santouka is a must-visit if you're ever near the Mitsuwa Marketplace in Edgewater. As a popular chain originally from Japan, they definitely live up to the hype. In my opinion, their broth is easily some of the best you can find - rich, deeply flavorful, and packed with umami. The noodles are always prepared perfectly with just the right amount of chew.<br><br>I love that they offer three different sizes for their ramen, which is super convenient depending on your appetite. You can order it as a standalone bowl or upgrade to a combo that comes with a rice bowl and a perfectly cooked soy sauce egg.<br><br>My absolute go-to is their Shio Ramen; the flavor profile is incredibly rich and satisfying. If you happen to visit during the summer, I highly recommend checking out their Hiyashi Chuka (cold ramen) - it is unbelievably refreshing on a hot day.
