  I don't usually like to leave reviews unless my experience was either really bad or extremely good. I saw Dr. Jimmy Chae sometime around October/November 2025, and after everything that happened, I definitely feel like I want to share my experience.<br><br>I originally went to him for a checkup, where he discovered that I needed to have several fillings done. I went ahead and had the fillings done by him, and that's where the problems started.<br><br>During one of my visits, something he was using dripped onto my chin and literally burned my skin. I've been going to dentists for many, many years and have never had this happen before. And honestly, all I could think was... what if that had dripped into my eye or gone down my throat instead?<br><br>Then there were the actual fillings. From the beginning, they felt weird. They were extremely rough and felt completely different from any fillings I've had done by other dentists. They just did not feel right. And sure enough, it wasn't long

  I hate leaving negative reviews, but I feel that my experience with this provider is important for future patients to consider.<br><br>After moving to NJ, I was eager to find a dentist local to me. Prior to seeing Dr. Chae, I had many fillings done over the years and had never experienced any significant complications. After evaluating my teeth, Dr. Chae informed me that I needed several additional fillings. I trusted his judgment and agreed to proceed with the treatment he recommended.<br><br>After one particular procedure, I noticed that the texture of the fillings felt rough, and I also felt what seemed to be a gap in one of the teeth he worked on. When I brought this up, my understanding from Dr. Chae was that the roughness was due to the bonding agent used and would improve over time, and that the filling material would eventually expand regarding the gap I was feeling. No further action was done in regards to either concern at the time.<br><br>However, after waiting several month

  I went in for a cleaning and second opinion, and Dr. Chae offered a treatment plan much better than the one the other dentist proposed, which would have been overkill and some of it unnecessary. Dr. Chae explained the process and did a great job. One filling felt a touch too high for me (my fault I hadn't said anything at the time), and he was happy to see me again to make it more comfortable. The office is very clean, staff is kind (the little one can be grumpy sometimes but she's usually a sweet kid so don't take it personally), and there's easy parking.
