One of the proudest moments of my life was watching my 6-year-old daughter persevere through fear and uncertainty to ultimately win gold against the boys in her first competition. That kind of growth is a testament to the incredible coaching and support here.<br><br>On a personal note, Rising Sun has been life-changing. I've lost 25 lbs, gained significant strength and muscle mass, and learned to manage major pre-existing injuries while mastering this beautiful art. Getting to train alongside such amazing competitors has been an incredible experience.<br><br>What truly sets this school apart is the genuine family atmosphere and how much they give back to the local community. It's rare to find a place that is so affordably priced while doing so much for the people around them. It feels like a second home where everyone from the coaches to the students wants to see you succeed. I can't recommend them enough!

Rising Sun and everyone in it has become family to me. Warm and welcoming community for competitors and hobbyists a like. High level room with amazing and very knowledgeable coaches. Community, discipline, hard work, mixed with fun and still a light harder atmosphere. You come for Jiu Jitsu and continue to grow and get better with great coaches and technique but you gain family in the process.
