  We have 5 dogs, so we go through ALOT of food! Our dogs LOVE the food we make with Total Pet Kitchen. Even my super picky Sheltie eats it right up. Clean up is a bit of a chore but you can take it apart and throw it in the dishwasher. Just make sure that you check the crevices when done.<br><br>Here is our recipie<br><br>- 1 cup water<br>- 2 cups long grain brown rice<br>- 5 lbs of ground turkey (we use Festive 1lb rolls from Walmart its $1.98 a lb)<br>- 1 1/2 cups frozen diced sweet potatoes<br>- 1 1/2 cups frozen cut green beans<br>- 1 cup frozen chopped spinich<br>- 4 eggs (with shells)<br>- 1/2 cup blueberries<br>We run the cook cycle then mix in a multi vitiman powder and fish oil.

  Save your money and just use a crockpot and mix it yourself. This machine was nothing but a headache.<br><br>There are far too many parts to take apart and clean, making the whole process more frustrating than convenient. I only got two uses out of it before it malfunctioned.<br><br>Overall, it felt overly complicated, unreliable, and not worth the price. I wouldn't recommend it.

  I was so excited when I saw this wonderful machine advertised. I had started making my dogs food in the past, but it took too much time and effort. As soon as I received the Total Pet Kitchen, I unboxed it and started cooking. It is super easy to use and comes with recipes. It took me a few times to remember how to put the pieces back together after washing, but so far I have used the machine at least 10 times. I prep the food and vacuum seal once cooked so I don't have to cook as often. I have 3 dogs and they all love the food. Total Pet Kitchen also sells the powders that can be added or given once food is cooked in each meal. These are nutrients not found in the foods used to cook. All-in-all I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this machine.

  I used this for the first time today. First thing ro note is there are a lot if parts that have to be assembled and when finished, take apart to clean and then reassemble to use again. You still have to chop up anything bigger, for example carrots have to be cut to 3/4" as does anything else. I used 2 cups of ground beef, cubed sweet potatoes, chopped spinach and brown rice. I proportioned those based on protein vs vegetables. My dog gets 1/2 cup of food in the morning and 1/2 cup for dinner. These ingredients made approximately 3.5 days of food. If I made this in my crock pot I would have gotten more. That said, the food comes out much more compacted from the Pet Kitchen. I will give it a few more tries with more food, but off the bat it's much more to clean than my single crock pot.

  We have absolutely loved the Total Pet Kitchen! We have two Golden Retrievers (3 and 5) and our oldest has never been a fan of meal time. Now, he is literally jumping up and down the moment I mention his "special food."<br><br>The Total Pet Kitchen makes it so easy to put together a healthy alternative to kibble, and I feel much better knowing exactly what is going into their food! It was going to be way too expensive to use a subscription fresh pet food service with two dogs and I found this to be a more affordable option. We highly recommend in this household!

  My dog Wally (Aussie Doodle) loves hisTotal Pet Kitchen! Wally is usually a grazer, he'll sniff his food, walk away, come back later, maybe eat a little. But with this, he actually gobbled it up.<br><br>I've been using it 50/50 with kibble to make sure he's getting all his nutrients, and it's been great. His #2's have never looked better, and it feels good knowing he's getting what he needs.<br><br>Honestly, I hesitated at first because I figured it might be messy, complicated, or something he'd ignore. But it was super easy to set up, goes right in the dishwasher, and is built like a tank.<br><br>It's a little more than expensive than Kibble but it's actually cheaper than the other fresh dog food options. Overall, Wally actually eats it, gets all his nutrients, and I don't have to worry about what he's putting in his body.
