  Everything was filed quickly but they said "the court doesn't provide updates" many times when asked.<br><br>Almost a year into my process, my ex heard from a friend that their divorce was finalized in less than two months and then she tried calling the court to get information, she was then told our divorce was finalized 7 months prior.<br><br>I went to court and was able to get the final decree, but still haven't been notified by my lawyers that I'm divorced...

  Hi Pedro,<br><br>We are happy to hear that the divorce we filed on your behalf was completed quickly and apologize for the lack of notice. We, too, were confused as to why we had not received any notifications. After contacting the clerk for an explanation, we were advised that, due to a clerical error by the court, they sent notices by mail directly to the parties rather than sending us notices or email alerts.<br><br>Unfortunately, New Jersey courts do not have an electronic tracking system li

  Not going to lie, they are quick with starting the divorce process but it has been almost 8 months and my divorce still isn't finalized...and I was told my divorce should be finalized from 6-7 months, then they pushed it back and told me it is now 6-8months. What's next, a year? I ask for an update and I get told that they will get back to me and they never get back to me. These reviews did get my hopes up unfortunately. I just want this process over with already.

  Thanks for sharing your feedback, Kiara. We are sorry the divorce process is taking longer than anticipated. Unfortunately this is a common issue in most NJ Counties, including Passaic County, as the Courts are simply backlogged with cases. While our offices submit all files ASAP, we cannot predict the court dockets and timing. We can only estimate the timeframes as we did in your case.
