On my way to Broad avenue, I passed by Siruwa by coincidence, and being in a smaller street I could have missed it during my time in Palisades Park<br>I'm so glad I got to know it, and I hope more will<br>The owner, Judy, is really lovely, super smiling, and with an obvious love for her work and customers<br>The choice of rice cakes is impressive, with sticky rice but also regular rice<br>They are freshly made on-site in the morning, and I recommend going early for extra choice<br>I tried several items, dutteop-tteok (duteobddeog), yaksik tteok (yagsigddeog), chalsiru-tteok (calsiruddeog) and hobakseolgi-tteok (hobagseolgi)<br>The 3rd and 4th one were not as sweet as they looked, which some people will prefer, while the 1st one was sweet, with a lovely filling, and my favorite<br>I also particularly liked the 2nd one, which was very different, and could work as a meal in my opinion<br>For anyone looking for Korean traditional rice cakes, this is the place to be, warmly recommended!

I visited for the first time a couple months ago and my experiences have been positive every time.<br><br>I love their chewy and fresh rice cakes, the owner I met on my first visit day is the sweetest woman. I always visit them when have rice cake craving because I know I'll only be buying freshly made food.
