I have been going to this restaurant since I moved to Fort Lee over 19 yrs ago, with the different owners. My experiences have always been nice with nice food, atmosphere and service. I was there this week with my family for a special occasion, we were only 5 and when I got the bill I added a tip of 25%. The waiter took my credit card and came back letting me know that a tip of 20% had already been charged on my bill. First I appreciated his honesty for bring it to my attention but I was very upset of why they had put it even though we were only 5. Never before have I had this charge on my bill before. This is not right and left me not wanting to go again. Also because of them putting the tip of 20% the waiter end up with a lesser tip than what I had planned on giving of 25%.

Had a fantastic experience at In Napoli in Fort Lee. This is a classic Italian restaurant with a really impressive menu, from fresh seafood and steaks to pasta and traditional Italian favorites. There's something about a long-standing neighborhood restaurant like this that has a character you just can't replicate.<br><br>The food was delicious and the portions were generous. I especially like the variety of the menu--you can go for seafood, pasta, chicken or veal, or one of their steaks and still have plenty of options to choose from. The atmosphere also has that comfortable, classic Italian feel that makes it a great place for a relaxed dinner or a special occasion.<br><br>The owner was a pleasure to talk to, and I really enjoyed the conversation. You can tell there's a lot of pride in the history of In Napoli and in continuing to make it a place where people can come together over good food.<br><br>Overall, I had an excellent experience and would definitely come back.
