My mother has been banking here for at least a decade. She is in her late 80's and has memory issues. She lives in NJ, I live in Tx. We followed the banks instructions on adding me to the account and it froze both of our accounts. I managed, through multiple attempts and phone calls, to have them unfreeze my accounts. I have access to one of her account. Because her license was expired they told her they couldn't unfreeze her accounts, yet they know they are hers. She went to renew her license came back with the renewal paper and now they are still not allowing her access. Now they are saying she needs me to go in to give her permission. Terrible customer service and a very disappointing experience overall.

In January 2026, I visited a Capital One branch in person to open a business account after receiving a promotional offer in the mail for a $1,000 cash bonus. I worked with a representative named Eric, who assisted me with opening the account.

Over the next three months, I met the stated requirements by spending over $10,000 in business expenses. However, in April 2026, I was informed that I am not eligible for the bonus because the account I was helped to open was not the correct one for the promotion.

When I contacted customer service at Fort Lee branch, I spoke with a representative who identified herself as "Lax." The interaction was unhelpful and dismissive, and no effort was made to resolve the issue or take responsibility for what was clearly an internal error.

I have been a long-time business customer with Chase, where I am consistently treated with professionalism and recognition.
