I called to ask if I could tour the facility before booking a stay for my dog, and I was told they do not allow tours. I am not comfortable dropping my dog off at a place where I am barred from seeing the conditions and environment where he will be staying. Turning away owners who want to vet the facility is a massive red flag for me.

Made an appt for international travel months ago and asked them to confirm if I needed anything. Now the day before appt the vet calls me to tell me its not possible to travel with my pet because she doesn't have a booster. And told me "it was on me to do the research" but were happy to take over $1,000 for this appt/paperwork. Imagine wanting that much money and when it doesn't work out putting the blame on the customer.

River Pet is such a wonderful place. My mini poodle has been going there since he was 5 months old, and he absolutely loves it. They take great care of him, and he plays well with dogs of all sizes. We moved away briefly, and I just knew I had to get my baby back to his puppy friends and the people who care for him closely while I work. The staff is so nice, and I love that it is connected to a vet. Keep up the great work River Pet!

I only use the daycare. I think they're good. My only challenge is that my dog can get there at 8 am. They walk him at 12 but he stays until 7:30-8:00pm and you have to pay if you want extra walk.
