This place is a mess to deal with. Constantly handing out parking tickets and nickel and dime-ing their own residents. I called in to speak with someone and was hung up on. When my lease is up in this town I will not be returning to the area.

TERRIBLE. No overnight parking ticket raised from $30 fine to $55, even when you submit the form you still may get a ticket

I received a parking ticket, pled not guilty ONLINE, was found not guilty, and I am being charged 33 for the court hearing that was held, when I disputed the ticket online. I do not understand? I have a parking permit, got a ticket for not having one, sent in the proof that I have one and it was on my car, was found not guilty and still have to pay 33.00? This sounds like a scam to me.

They have automated (False Positive) parking ticket detection cameras around town.<br><br>They automatically fine you (regardless of validity, in my case standing), send you frivolous tickets "illegal parking at crosswalk" then provide limited means to defend them followed by threats of license suspension forcing you to jump through their hoops designed to force you into payment.<br><br>Looking forward to never visiting this township again. Systematic injustices should never be tolerated.

If you go with a traffic ticket there is no choice left other than paying it. When you try to defend, there is chance of getting charged $33 as court fees plus the fine on the traffic ticket even though you are a tax payer this one more bonus to pay court fees. I won't suggest to waste time going here. Either pay it online or avoid driving or parking in Hasbrouck Heights area!!! Rules are rules no matter how much it makes your life miserable.
