Absolutely disgraceful what this town has become. Police officers targeting residents, bureaucrats in robes treating us like garbage. I'm disgusted by what the municipal court has turned into. It didn't used to be like this. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Everyone from the clerks to the judges are disgraceful. Once the prosecutor retired and was replaced, this town will never be the same. You guys disgust me.

I pulled up to a restaurant and put my hazards on to pick up some food - I work uber eats. I was probably there for a minute - I was quick, the food was already done. When I came out the cop gave me a ticket. I told him the situation, that I was picking up for uber eats but he didn't care and gave me the ticket anyway. I tried fighting it in court, talked to the prosecutor ( I won't say any names) about what happened, and he said these words exactly "if I let you go we wouldn't make any money." They don't care about us, the people. They care about making money. It's disgraceful. This is the last town I want to be a part of. Stay away

Folks, this clearly shows two extreme sides of the spectrum, this court being the best in nj while on the other end, Harrison and Jersey City (worse than a second world justice system). I had a court date for Rutherford MC one week prior to the court date for Harrison MC and I was unable to attend both because of some personal constraints. I called up Rutherford (first) and my God the way they cooperated with me by letting me explain my situation while the Harrison MC gave me a bailable bench warrant right away without even giving me a chance to explain. (For a minimal parking offence)
