The 1 star reviews are real. Please save yourself the trouble and find someone else.. When I reached out to Danny initially, he was very quick to answer and call. He came same day to "fix" the rust ($450). He told me it would take 2 hours, but finished in closer to 45 mins, if that. Fine, no biggie, I wouldn't mind if he did a thorough job.<br><br>Two weeks later, the same spot is rusting. I messaged and call him and he tells me he's sick. Fine. Then he said he'll redo it on Friday. Thursday afternoon I'm trying to confirm when he'll come by, and now he's saying "rust is cancer to a car and it's just going to come back." Um so I'm out of $450 and I'm back to dealing with the same rust two weeks later.<br><br>Do not, I repeat, do not get scammed by this guy. Every word out of his mouth is a lie. I really tried to give him the benefit of the doubt multiple times, but at this point, all I can do is warn people to avoid him at all cost.

He is certainly not a professional in any way. He won't perform the job for which he was paid or promised to do. He won't even answer your call once he knows you're unhappy with the work.

SCAM ALERT: Do Not Hire Danny<br>I'm writing this to warn everyone about Danny. He seems like a nice guy at first, but it's all an act to get your money and disappear.<br><br>The Red Flags:<br><br>The "Paint" Deposit: He'll ask for a partial Venmo payment upfront, claiming he needs to buy supplies. He likely overcharges for this just to pocket the extra cash.<br><br>The Sob Story: He uses a "family man" act--talking about going to church or needing holiday money--to guilt-trip you into giving him a tip before the work is even done.<br><br>Ghosting: After doing a poor job and leaving the repair in bad condition, he promised to come back and fix it. After a no show when he was supposed to come he ignores all calls and texts.<br><br>The Proof:<br><br>Avoidance: He instantly hangs up when I call from my number.<br><br>The Trap: I called him from a different number and he picked up instantly. As soon as he realized it was me, he pretended he "couldn't hear anything" and hung up then proceed

I would strongly advise against using Danny. I contacted him to fix a damaged bumper and broken tail light. He quoted me $400 total, promising to fix the bumper the next day and then return the following week to replace the tail light. While he was in the middle of the repair, he called me to say he brought the wrong shade of black paint and requested $200 more for the correct color. I agreed in the moment to avoid the same paint issues mentioned in previous reviews, but later realized that the spray paint he charged me for likely cost no more than $20-$50.<br><br>Now, after reading other reviews, this seems to be his regular tactic: quoting a price, starting the repair, then calling to add hidden charges mid-job. At the end of the service, he wanted me to pay the $600 total upfront for a job that was only half done, insisting that he was actively calling places for the tail light and that he would return to install it and only charge me for the cost of the light when he returns. Danny did a great job. I had a crack in my front bumper and scratches aswell, I went to different autoshops they all wanting to charge an arm and a leg, Danny explained everything to me and was patient. He came to my location which was also convenient. Body shop work isn't cheap. Having a great freelancer with experience and expertise is what I needed before winter and the snow season. Great value and good price.<br>Thank you again Danny!
