  Great AC service! AMS took their time to help research the best options for my condo, which requires the condenser be on the roof. While they couldn't find a condenser that would fit through the attic hatch or a heat pump that would work with my wiring, they did their best, and in the end got a very efficient condenser eligible for 0% financing up on the roof with a crane and completed installation in one day. It's purring like a kitten so far. Price was competitive with other AC installers in the area (but still high -- it just is for crane installations in North Jersey, it seems). Thanks AMS!

  Advanced Mechanical Services is a gem! We have now had three major jobs well done by AMS, this latest replacing a 45-year old air handler in super-tight closet. Edwin, Ricardo, Gabriel and AMS owner Jack worked miracles to make this happen at reasonable cost. Very happy to recommend AMS!<br><br>From our earlier review:<br>Although it's the height of the busy season, AMS serviced our urgent need promptly. Their bid came in $800 less than the nearest competitor. They found a cost efficient solution to restoring an out of warranty unit. [Other HVAC companies, including my local utility provider, insisted the entire system needed to be replaced at a price of over $12k.]. Best of all, the AMS technicians were courteous, deeply knowledgeable, patient with my many questions, tactful in dealing with my HOA rules, and simply friendly, with no ego "expert" attitude.   I have only good things to say about AMS. I have found their technicians to be knowlegeable and trustworthy whether maintainig my Mitsubishi mini-splits or servicing my Peerless gas boiler. They tell you what you need and don't try to oversell you. I have recommended AMS to other friends of mine, with the same experience. Thumbs up!!
