  I've been taking both my dogs here for about 2 years and although they're on the expensive side ($80 for a 5 lb dog) they're very good and have always been happy with their finished product.

  Brought my Dog in For grooming at the Grooming Shoppe for a nice Easter/ summer cut last week.He is a year and half years old. Had three (3) Hair cuts there. This will be the last. They Skinned him pink like the color of a pig. Cut 3 of his quicks, additionally the last time I was there they gave him Razor burns on his Testicles, they apologized, and said we will put it in his profile. To ensure this wouldn't happen again. We decided because my wife is Disabled from epilepsy, and can't Drive to give them another chance, so we did. He once again had worse razor burn on his testicles, 3 nails broken, pink all over from skinning. When emailing the owner she blames it on extreme matting, and neglect, and said they were not responsible. The dog is only a year, and half years old is very well taken care of might have had a little matting but nothing major at all.<br><br>My Dog has still been Crying, not able to sleep, screaming in pain, with a E collar that the Owner will not be looking for

  NEVER AGAIN!!!! Took my shis tzu a couple times . Once he got razor burn,so I called was told that they would no longer clip him around the same area. Just got him his summer cut..looked more like he was skinned... Told them that he had MINIMAL matting in 2 places. They tired to tell my husband that we talked about it and that our dog was really matted LIES. THE PET MARKET IS GREAT. The grooming shop not so much. Oh and I asked for short ears and they are long . Also he had 3 of his quicks clipped . Just stay away . Very unprofessional.

  Spoke to the owner explained how my dog keeps getting ear infections but it just dosent make sense... she's never gotten an ear infection from another groomer I've taken her to... yes I get you should consistently groom your dog but I've had her on the same schedule when I lived in south jersey never got an ear infection... it tried 3 times here because 1st time mabye it's her second mabye it's me but a third time you guys are doing something wrong.... Just putting cotton balls in ears aren't enough.... There's no reason my dog should have an ear infection and now on top of grooming I'm spending money for vet visits.... They were good idk what happened I want to go back but I just can't.... Gotta do better two bottles now I have to spend another 40... the man that was there was angry at me and had a few choice words and if you talk to a human like that how do you treat animals? questionable...

  used to love this place... would take my poodle here multiple times, and I had no complaints. most recent time my dog was too scared to even walk into the shop, I was so confused as my dog is the friendliest. when i got my dog back there were multiple cuts/ razor burns all over the private areas and belly. no one even bothered to tell me! i didnt notice till I got home. my dog was also so depressed/sad when they got home. now i have to have a cone around my dogs head so my dog they can heal and my dog wont lick the burns. so sad and unprofessional.. not coming back.

  We are sorry to hear that both you and your dog were unhappy with the services at your last visit. We always try to let a dog parent know if there were any issues with the skin during the grooming service however sometimes razor burn can take some time to appear on the skin. Our intent is to be a safe space for dogs to feel comfortable while getting groomed and are sorry we could not do that for you both.
