If you are looking for a martial arts studio that perfectly balances physical training with character building, SDSS of Ridgefield is the place to be. Sifu Chris is an incredible instructor--he is easily the best teacher we've worked with. He has a unique talent for keeping my child completely engaged and excited to learn every single week.<br>What makes this program stand out is the Five-Animal System. It's not just about punches and kicks; they use the traits of the Tiger, Snake, Crane, Leopard, and Dragon to teach essential life lessons. My child is learning:<br>Self-confidence through the strength of the Tiger.<br>Patience and conflict resolution from the Crane.<br>Honesty in actions like the Leopard.<br>Self-discipline and focus through the Dragon.<br>I especially love the "circle time" at the end of class. Chris is an incredibly patient, funny, kind, and knowledgeable. After meeting him once my 9yo said "I like him, he's a great guy!" Good people, great place!

This is a very good Kung Fu school with an amazing teacher. Sifu Chris is exceptional at teaching martial arts to children and adults! His patience and care are evident from the start. I highly recommend this studio!

I love SDSS, Chris is great with his teaching. I have been there for almost 10 years and will probably be there for a while longer and the classes are small and you can learn a lot in them.
