Boulevard Bagels is one of those places you walk into and immediately feel like you made the right choice. The staff is friendly in that genuine, "hey, good morning, what can I get started for you?" way: not rushed, not robotic, just real people who care about getting your order right.<br><br>The bagels themselves are exactly what a Jersey bagel should be: soft inside, perfectly chewy, and with that golden crust that tells you they were boiled and baked the proper way. Had a fantastic experience at Bergen Boulevard Bagels in Palisades Park. This is an old-school local bagel shop that really delivers when it comes to the basics. The bagels are huge, fresh, and have that perfect chewy texture with a nice crisp exterior. You can tell they're made fresh rather than sitting around all day.<br><br>I also really liked the selection of spreads and toppings. The breakfast sandwiches are generous, and there are plenty of options if you want something more substantial than just a bagel and cream cheese.<br><br>The owner was a pleasure to talk to, and I really enjoyed the conversation.
