  My husband and I have lived here a year now and have renewed our lease.<br>Pros:<br>1. The staff is wonderful. The office staff and the maintenance staff. Everyone is friendly and willing to help. Sarah even remembered our names months after we moved in.<br>2. Maintenance is on top of it. I've had to submit several tickets and every one was assigned and handled promptly. Even when the solution came down to user error, they were kind and patient about it.<br>3. The property is lovely and very well maintained. We're on the river and I love that care is taken to work around the wildlife rather than treating them as a nuisance.<br>4. The location is convenient! Cross the river for groceries, hop on the 168 to go to NYC. Walking distance to Main St Hackensack and Bogota.<br><br>Cons: I'm not taking any stars away because these are not reflective of the service, but just things to keep in mind.<br>1.   I'm a night shift nurse and live on the third floor of building 2000. New people moved in above me about 2 weeks ago. These people stomp around, drill, hammer, drop things, bang things around etc and are overall very disruptive when I'm trying to sleep during the day after/between my shifts which ends up being about 5/7 days a week. I've brought the concern to management a few times. As per them, the people above me were made aware that I'm a night shift nurse and sleep during the day and they don't care. They continue to be disruptive. I even sent a video to management where you can hear the whirring of the drill at 9 in the morning. They responded back telling me all they can hear is the whirring of a fan which is BS. No fan in a bedroom is that loud. That whirring is in fact the whirring of the drill from the people above me. The only thing they offered is to come into my apartment in the middle of my time to sleep and hear the noise themselves. Which means not only am<br>I already

  Rita -- We understand how difficult it can be to work overnight shifts and how important uninterrupted sleep is. Whenever we receive a noise complaint, we investigate it thoroughly and work with all residents involved. In this instance, we spoke with the residents above your apartment, reviewed the information you provided, and offered to visit your home while the activity was occurring so we could accurately assess the source and level of the noise.   such a beautiful apartment so many amenities there are washer and dryer in every unit beautiful layout there's so much decor very comfy home night temperature lighting, fixtures view curtains, shades, all the above nice balconies a poor very nice fitness room everything you could ever need there's also a great cafe right across the street.

  Don't get an apartment with a river view balcony. It's about $200 extra a month that you pay and you can't even use it during the warm months when the weather allows for it because there is an infestation of midges from the river. They are all over the screen and glass door and on the walls of the balcony. Nothing gets rid of them. Not even whatever the weekly exterminator does. I got furniture for my balcony and it's sitting in boxes because I can't even open the door to the balcony without the midges flying in and if they do, they stay on my ceiling and walls. Such a disappointment. And management doesn't care. I tried to tell them a few times and all they say is "I'm sorry" and "I understand" with no compensation or permanent solution. I wish I would've just gotten a community view balcony apartment. Maybe then I'd be able to use it. So disappointing.<br><br>REPLY TO OWNER:<br><br>A few midges or bugs or mosquitoes is one thing. As with any waterfront property in New Jersey, there will be midges and other wildlife that thrive along the banks, which is why we not only bring in a weekly exterminator to treat any unit upon resident request, but also partner with the county to ensure that the waterfront itself is appropriately treated for the season.
