Arete Music Academy, located in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, currently has nearly 300 talented students enrolled from nearby neighborhoods including Fort Lee, Edgewater, Tenafly, and Palisades Park. Founded and organized by Juilliard alumni, Arete Music Academy is committed to providing a high caliber of music education, from elementary through advanced levels, to students of all ages. Our faculty is comprised of experienced and dedicated teaching artists who have received their formal training at prestigious programs at conservatories and universities such as The Juilliard School, Yale School of Music, Curtis Institute of Music and Columbia University.

In the midst of the pandemic, Arte Music went through an ownership/management change and then became Aurora Music Academy. Love the new owner and her adorable cats. Most of the teachers are nice and very polite. We were there for almost two years and enjoyed the experience!!

Aurora Music Academy is an exceptional school with amazing instructors and staff. They take instrumental lessons and musical theater to the next level with the utmost professionalism but also while keeping their programs engaging and fun for the students. Our kids love their experience with AMA and have learned a great deal. The instructors are very knowledgeable and work closely with the kids to ensure success.<br><br>The owner, Kaitlyn Barnes, is a pleasure to work with and is always there for the kids and a gifted performer herself. The kids are lucky to have her! I highly recommend Aurora Music Academy for your kids' musical education.

Wonderful music school for my 9 year old daughter for almost 3 years now. She has tried violin and now settled on piano. The teachers have all been well trained, kind and encouraging. Organized and responsive staff who have been very helpful with busy scheduling or rescheduling needs. Highly recommend!
