An Absolute Gem in Hackensack!<br><br>V & T Salumeria is hands-down the best Italian deli in Bergen County. This family-owned spot makes you feel like part of the family the moment you walk in--the hospitality is incredible and Momma Angie and Nana are absolutely the sweetest.<br><br>The food? Perfection. Everything is made fresh daily, from their homemade mozzarella to their famous chicken cutlets. I'm obsessed with their V&T Sandwich--it's packed with perfectly cooked balsamic chicken, fresh mozzarella, arugula, and roasted peppers on the freshest bread. No Gloves After Handling Cash!<br><br>I generally avoid leaving negative reviews for small businesses because I know how hard they work. However, this has happened repeatedly, and I feel it's important to mention it.<br>The employees (especially the owner) who prepare the sandwiches also work the cashier. They handle cash, credit cards, and the payment terminal, then immediately begin making sandwiches without washing their hands or putting on gloves. This is a serious food hygiene concern and is simply not acceptable.<br>I truly hope the management addresses this issue. Good hygiene practices are essential in any food establishment, and customers should be able to trust that their food is being prepared safely.

dont answer their phones they leave you on hold for 20 minutes and when I got there I was still on hold looking to see if anyone would grab the phone and noone did so I just ordered in the store since I was there already. If your lucky enough to place an order over the phone your sandwich wont be ready when you get there either. they will make it as if you didnt place an order ahead of time

Wonderful! The hero was so good. Nice and soft bread and just enough of everything on it. I had that with the pasta salad. All very reasonable pricing and everything looks really delectable. Can't wait to try their vodka sauce and calamari next
