  I highly recommend Lisa Skates (Simply Social Dancing) to anyone interested in learning to dance or enhancing their social dancing skills.<br><br>Lisa has created a warm and welcoming environment, fostering personal and creative growth as well as camaraderie among her students. All of her instruction is clear, from the simple logistics of rotating from one partner to the next around the room in group classes, to demystifying choreography--breaking complex movements down to their components parts, including the biomechanics needed to execute them. I'm so glad I found her!

  Taking dance lessons with Lisa at Simply Social Dancing was one of the highlights of our wedding planning. From the very first session, Lisa made us feel completely welcome and at ease. Her teaching style is fantastic--warm, supportive, and so much fun! She really helped us find our rhythm, and I'm so grateful that she helped me feel like I didn't have two left feet.<br><br>What I really loved about her lessons is how she breaks down complex movements into manageable, easy-to-follow steps, tailoring her feedback to our specific needs so we never felt rushed or discouraged. She has a real gift for making you feel comfortable while you learn. It's rare to find an instructor who is as talented as she is kind. If you're looking for a stress-free and enjoyable way to get ready for your wedding (or just to learn to dance), we can't recommend her enough!

  We had an amazing experience learning our first dance with Lisa! From our very first lesson, she gave clear, easy-to-follow instructions and choreographed a routine that perfectly matched our skill level. She made us feel comfortable and confident every step of the way, and each lesson was fun and enjoyable.<br><br>Lisa created a choreography that fit our song beautifully. It felt elegant, natural, and truly reflected us as a couple. We had so much fun learning it, and performing it on our wedding day was an unforgettable experience.<br><br>Our first dance ended up being one of the highlights of our reception. So many of our friends and family came up to us afterward and told us it was the most beautiful first dance they had ever seen.   Lisa is a vibrant, intuitive and excellent instructor. She gives great direction for dancers of all levels and her energy is positive and uplifting.<br>The exercise class is dynamic and strengthening without the potential for injury.<br>Great energy and inspiring all in a safe space.<br>Looking forward to continuing classes and social events.

  My fiance and I started lessons about a month before the wedding, and Lisa was incredible. She choreographed the perfect dance that captured exactly what we envisioned--beautifully balancing modern romance with timeless elegance. I wore a princess ball gown, and she even had the perfect petticoat for us to practice with. She let us perform in front of one of her classes, which really helped ease the nerves before dancing in front of our guests. I cannot recommend her enough!!
