  I wanted to try Club Pilates through ClassPass and quickly learned it was not worth it. I have done many Pilates classes, both mat and reformer, at several studios where grippy socks weren't required or needed. Despite this being the first class, I received no welcome or greeting from the instructor, just her telling me I had to buy the $20 grippy socks if I wanted to take the class I already used credits for (if there were more affordable options, they weren't made known to me, as the receptionist didn't know the prices of the socks). If you have to make a choice between a Pilates studio with an additional barrier to entry (being grippy socks) versus a Pilates studio with no required apparel, I would absolutely choose the Pilates studio with no required apparel. This is just another example of being nickel-and-dimed in every way possible by businesses and it's exhausting.

  I switched to Club Pilates at the beginning of the year and I'm so happy I did.<br>There's a choice of locations, a variety of classes and multiple instructors catering to different levels of experience. I'm beyond pleased with my increased range of motion, strength and stamina.The instructors are attentive, knowledgeable, engaging and challenging in the best ways. I have a few favorites, each of whom challenge me in different ways. Rafael keeps us on our toes & laughing through the sweat; Peter echoes my days of ballet which brings me such joy; Karen, Rosemary & Danielle each have a rhythm I appreciate and enjoy; Crissy is the personification of Joy and Chanae sprinkles happiness with a little spice... they're are all amazing and just when I think I've got the routine, they switch it up and inject new energy and complexity. Classes are always fun and I leave on a natural high, looking forward to my next. Oh and I can't forget Norma at the front desk. She's an absolute delight!

  I really enjoy Club Pilates Rutherford - the environment is so welcoming and comfortable that it makes it easy to feel at home, especially as a beginner.<br><br>In particular, Emily is an amazing instructor and a big part of why I look forward to coming each week. She is incredibly beginner-friendly and makes everyone feel comfortable, while still challenging you in all the right ways. Her cues are clear and thoughtful, and she really helps you focus on proper form. I've noticed real improvements in my strength and confidence, and her classes are truly a highlight of my week! And, you can always count on her for a 10/10 playlist. Highly recommend both the studio and Emily to anyone thinking about trying Pilates!

  My experience changed completely when I tried to cancel my membership. I called to cancel and was told I needed exactly 30 days notice, but my card had already been charged 4 days earlier because they changed the billing cycle. Because of that charge, management told me the cancellation wouldn't count yet and that I still have to pay for two more months.<br><br>The classes may be good, but the way memberships and cancellations are handled was very disappointing. I recommend reading the cancellation and billing policies very carefully before signing up.<br><br>I really wish I had known this before joining.

  I'd heard Pilates is addictive and it's true! I'm exercising more than ever thanks to Club Pilates. The instructors make group classes<br>feel private. They pay attention to your reformer settings, making sure they are ideal for you. They notice when resistance needs to grow as you strengthen, especially Rafael, who is an absolute angel.
