  Went to my newborns first baby visit, went great ! Dr.Fisher was thorough and answered all our questions. We were pleased with the attention and support. Wait time was a breeze!

  My son went here for a sore throat on 8/7/26. He tested negative for strep in house and was told to drink plenty of fluids, and another test? was sent out.<br>He got progressively worse and I requested a telemedicine visit for him. The telemedicine visit was denied and I was told to get a multi symptom medicine (Mucinex).<br>On 8/10 Ivy Pediatrics (River Edge) sent a text to check up. A response was given that he has not improved and the denial of the tele visit was less than helpful, and an antibiotic was requested.<br>The antibiotic was denied, and wanted him to trek over there for another visit. A negative to trek back over there was given.<br>At this point all of his symptoms have flared up again and until another doctor is located he will resort to short term care facilities.<br>It is upsetting that Ivy Pediatrics in River Edge has shown on more than one occasion they only care about $$$$$, not the patient.

  I've been on hold for over 30 minutes just to make my son a sick appt. Transferred to this practice since Dr Batista sold. They are totally corporate now with hold times for EVERYTHING. Not impressed with any of the doctors there whatsoever - will be switching practices asap

  Dr. Howard Fisher has been my children's pediatrician since they were born, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about him. Over the years, he has consistently provided exceptional care, and I am so grateful to have him as part of our family's healthcare team.<br><br>He is incredibly thorough and detail-oriented, always taking the time to carefully explain things and make sure we understand everything. No question is ever too small, and he is always there to answer our concerns with patience, compassion, and expertise. As a parent, that level of support and reassurance means so much.<br><br>My children have always felt comfortable with him, and I have complete trust in his judgment and care. It is clear that he genuinely cares about his patients and their well-being. After all these years, I can confidently say that choosing him as our pediatrician was one of the best decisions we made for our children.
