  Rich is a pleasure to work with. Very knowledgeable and honest. He had to replace the valve body on my Mercedes E450 due to a pressure sensor failure that threw a check engine light. Rip-off Mercedes dealerships quoted me so much more than Rich. He is very responsive when you call him and if you get a chance to spend some time with him in person, he's a very cool guy!!! Hats off to Rich and European Exchange....Don't hesitate to work with him!!

  This is an owner and shop I'll hold on to forever -- and I'm not kidding. I felt completely comfortable discussing my car's transmission issues without ever feeling like I was being taken advantage of. They rebuilt my entire transmission, and my car has truly never run better. No more stalls, no more pull back's -- it finally feels like a normal, smooth-operating vehicle again.<br><br>They were transparent and honest every step of the way throughout the repair. What I really appreciated is that they're willing to break everything down for you, whether you want the full technical explanation or a simplified version. I found myself learning as they worked on my car, and I loved that. Not many people take the time to make sure the customer actually understands what's going on.<br><br>A true 10/10 in every way. I will be spreading the word like it's the best gossip.

  I had actually gone to a mechanic who gave me a $7,000 estimate to replace the entire transmission.<br>It seemed odd to me, since the gearbox had been working fine until recently -- the problems only started after the car had been sitting unused for a while.<br>So I decided to get a second opinion, and luckily I found a mechanic who took a closer look. After a few tests, he said that a good cleaning of the valve body might be all it needed.<br><br>And he was right.<br><br>The transmission went back to working perfectly -- no replacement needed -- and it only cost me 700 euros.<br><br>Fantastic. Amazing. And above all: honest.

  Rich is old School , extremely<br>Experienced in repairing/ Adjusting Automatic Transmissions for Vintage Mercedes Benz Classic Cars .<br>Mine is 1970 280 S L I have had for 30 Years . My tranny was shifting late & with a Thump .<br>Rich adjusted it to shift SMOOTHLY .<br>He's the right man for the job .<br>Furthermore, he is very Reasonable price wise<br>I give him 5 .<br>T Y Rich .<br>Ed Ozery
