We had an old AC system that needed to be replaced. Finding a new unit that would fit in a confined space was difficult. Other companies tried and failed. Dean, at Green Apple, worked hard to find us a unit that would work for us.

Our AC stopped functioning a few days ago. We called an HVAC contractor the next day. He checked out the condenser and told us it needed replacement. We were also informed that there was no freon in the system and that there was some electrical issue as well. We were told the job would cost us $7500 should we decide to go forward. We called Green Apple today and they came out. We were told the only issue was an electrical short. Dean, the technician, diagnosed the problem quickly and made the necessary repair. We were shocked to find out that the condenser was functioning and there was adequate freon in the system. We paid $500 which I felt was well worth it. I have used Green Apple for over 5 years for a variety of different issues including heating, AC and water heater issues. They are always responsive, quick to come assess and fix the issue and provide fair and transparent pricing. He recently was able to replace our central air condenser with very limited notice and made sure the job was done correctly. I appreciate all they have helped us with, they are excellent and I cannot recommend enough.

Fantastic, professional service with upfront quotes and pricing estimates and disclosures. No hidden fees. Would highly recommend in all regards for any HVAC work if you need help in the Edgewater NJ area.<br><br>We had an emergency where one of our central AC units, installed just two years ago, was really dirty and needed cleaning. Additionally, the unit was not cooling very well. The ACs were installed by another company. In spite of calling this previous company multiple times to come and clean it, as they were supposed to per the maintenance contract, they never showed up even after committing to times. Extremely unprofessional on their part.<br><br>When we called GreenApple, they were there in 24 hours, worked for three full hours scrubbing and cleaning the external filters. Then Mr Dean found that the previous company had skimped significantly on the freon for the unit, and that was why it wasn't cooling well! He topped it up, confirmed there was no leak, we agreed to the quote,
