  If you are looking to start pottery or simply look for a pottery studio, Song Clay is perfect! Mr Song is truly an expert and an artist whether it's throwing on the wheel or hand-building. The community is also great and welcoming! Highly recommend this studio!

  I'd been interested in pottery since last year but only began classes this January as a New Year's goal, and I'm so glad I did!! The more I learn, the more I love it, always counting down to each class.<br><br>Mr. Song is kind and highly skilled, guiding every step with care. Watching his hands at work on the potter's wheel is mesmerizing...it truly feels as though they were made for pottery. The classmates are also warm and welcoming, which made starting much easier.<br><br>I highly recommend this place. You can admire and purchase the instructor's work, and it's a wonderful space to create your own pieces or craft a special gift.

  I had been wanting to try pottery for years but never knew where to go or had the chance to try. I came here through a friend's recommendation and I am so so so glad that I came here for my first experience with pottery. You really get to experience each and every step of the process and I could really tell that Mr Song is an artist that is truly in love with his craft.<br>For anyone who has been hesitating to try something new or even for pottery veterans, I highly recommend this studio. Mr Song is able to work with beginners and also give experienced guidance to seasoned students :)<br>I came out of the class feeling super accomplished, proud of myself, and excited to come back to finish my project!

  I've been with Mr. Song's pottery studio for more than 2 years now and have learned so much, having only attended the Tuesday night classes.<br><br>Mr. Song's teaching is very hands on, in which you not only learn how to throw on the wheel but also hand build, how to wedge and prepare your own clay, and how to glaze. It's truly a "do it yourself" class where all ideas are welcome and celebrated.<br><br>I've gotten to make a variety of pieces - from cups, bowls, plates, and fun handmade pieces as well. Some of his students come with some artistic background or pottery experience but many of his students - like myself - are new to the craft! We even got to do a showcase this past spring to close friends and family.<br><br>I would highly recommend Song Clay studio if you're looking for a new hobby and would like to join some fellow enthusiasts - we'd love to have you!!
