I'm extremely disappointed with the way Volair Westmont's management office, particularly Leasing Manager Tatiana, has handled recent unexplained charges of more than $350 being added to tenants' accounts.

The biggest concern is not simply that an error occurred--it's the lack of availability, communication, accountability, and professionalism surrounding it. After trying to get clarification regarding these unexpected charges, it was ultimately discovered that Volair had incorrectly credited the accounts themselves not once but twice in a matter of two months. Despite the issue originating on management's end, there has been little accountability and, instead, tenants are being made to feel as though they are responsible for resolving or absorbing the consequences of Volair's mistake.

Tenants budget carefully for their monthly expenses, especially something as significant as rent. Adding $350+ in unexpected charges that were never previously communicated or agreed upon c

    Hi Brittany,
We're sorry to read your 1-star review of our community, however, we would like to clarify that the approximately $327 balance was not a new fee or an unexplained charge. It resulted from the correction of a duplicate credit that had previously been applied to the account. Although the credits appeared in July and August, they were related to the same payment, and the duplicate was corrected in August.

Our Property Manager spoke with you on Friday and explained the reason

Beware if you're considering renting here.

The leasing office may offer an attractive introductory rate, but be sure to look beyond the first year's rent. In my experience, our rent increased by approximately 9.8% each year, just under the legal limit. Those increases began when the property was owned by Avalon and continued after ownership changed to Volair. Before signing a lease, make sure you factor those potential annual increases into your budget.

My biggest issue was the lack of honesty and transparency. When it came time to renew our lease, the office claimed our apartment was worth significantly more than what it was actually being advertised for on their own public website. We asked twice if they would honor the lower advertised rate, and both times we were told the website price was simply a "system error." We ultimately decided we'd rather move than pay the inflated renewal rate. At that point, the leasing office tried to pressure us by saying they already had

    Hi Jackie,
We're sorry that your experience did not meet expectations. Renewal pricing is based on several factors and may differ from the initial move-in rate depending on the lease term, apartment style, market conditions and other considerations. We understand the importance of clearly explaining these differences and regret that you did not feel the process was transparent, we are sorry you chose not to renew with us.

We take concerns regarding maintenance, cleanliness, amenities

Living at Volair in Wesmont has been an incredible experience. If you are looking for a true luxury lifestyle paired with top-tier customer service, this is the place to be.
The community itself is stunning. The modern finishes, spacious layouts, and high-end amenities really give it an upscale, resort-style feel. Whether enjoying the common areas or relaxing at home, every detail feels thoughtful and elevated.
What truly sets Volair apart, though, is the staff. The management and maintenance teams go above and beyond to make sure residents are well taken care of. They are consistently warm, professional, prompt, and attentive to every detail. Any question or request is handled quickly and with a smile, which makes living here completely stress-free.
I couldn't recommend Volair enough to anyone looking for a high-end, comfortable, and beautifully managed community in Westmont!

Every floor currently has no working air conditioning. Hallways and units feel like ovens. A neighbor with newborn twins contacted management about the heat and was told the babies "need to toughen up." The same conditions exist across the street at Rosera.
The community room and hallways carry a strong, persistent odor that includes a constant moldy dog smell. This appears to come from the downstairs dog grooming business. Even if that tenant leaves, the space will require full aeration and a complete gut renovation before anyone else can reasonably occupy it -- something ownership is highly unlikely to do. As a result, that unit will likely cycle through short-term businesses every few years because the underlying smell and mold issues will never fully go away. That is a legitimate concern for every resident.
High-pitched fire alarms go off suddenly as many as seven times per night. The repeated noise causes severe sleep disruption, fatigue, anxiety, and ongoing stress. Anyone

We're sorry to read your review; however, several statements do not accurately reflect the conditions or practices at our community. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service. Our air-conditioning system is operational, and when an individual unit cannot be repaired the same day, a portable unit is provided because resident comfort and satisfaction are important to us.

We have not experienced the repeated fire alarms described, and the stated $500 lockout fee is incorre
