  I came here as a senior seeking TMS for diminished executive functioning . Medicare PAYS! My experience was a colossal waste of time and I bailed . Yes, everybody is very nice , but the right hand in this place does not know what the left is doing . If you are looking for a medical facility , skip , this brain center .,

  I recently took my 10-year-old son to a brain treatment center for autism, where we underwent 20 sessions of MeRT treatment last November and December 2024. My son was in the moderate autism range and was minimally verbal.The doctor suggested waiting six months to see gradual changes, but unfortunately, I didn't notice any improvements. The treatment cost nearly $8,000, which I feel was a significant waste of money. While the doctor didn't make any promises, I'd advise parents to consider other options before investing in expensive treatments like this.

  My 7 yr old son completed this therapy not worth it. As on paper his brain showed differently than when he started but I only noticed him become more hyper n disobedient. The doctor said it was due to him being more aware of his surroundings but he was always alert it's just his speech. He has conversational speech delay. He can communicate almost the same as b4 the therapy. Wouldn't do it again. Maybe better outcome for a nonverbal, more servere case.

  Very expensive with little results. There are many other cost-friendly alternative therapy's out there. Putting a device on your child's forehead for 15 seconds should not cost so much. 12k could be invested in the more promising treatments. I personally had this service done, so I'm speaking from experience. Here's a list of other therapies<br>. Behavioral management therapy.<br>* Cognitive behavior therapy.<br>* Early intervention.<br>* Educational and school-based therapies.<br>* Joint attention therapy.<br>* Medication treatment.<br>* Nutritional therapy.<br>* Occupational therapy.<br>. Equine therapy<br>. Stem cell therapy (15k @ Duke University)<br><br>I don't want to bash this type of business, but it's too much for out-of-pocket expenses. Only if insurance would cover it would legitimize it more. I came to brain therapeutic out of desperation and had high hopes. Good luck

  After careful research on every possible treatment available for autism, we decided to try out the MeRT by Brain Treatment Center last summer for the first time.<br><br>While speculative and very much feared for the first several days based on our observation of our son's behavior, we were still doubtful and truly "feared" during the treatment. It was weeks after the completion of the treatment that summer, our son displayed significant improvements in his behaviors.<br><br>It was unthinkable to carry on normal conversation or any enjoyable conversation, rather. After the treatment, he has transformed himself to be someone who we enjoy speaking to, who can come back with very intelligent and intriguing questions to heighten such fruitful conversation.<br><br>It was also unthinkable to take a trip with him that requires more than 30 minutes without screaming uncontrollably. He has become someone who has no issue with taking on any trek, requiring hours at a time.<br><br>We have, therefo
