  I'm not one to type mean reviews, as i don't want to hurt anybody, but this is just ridiculous - I'm a mom whose kids are Switching swim teams because of coach Peter. The athletes think he is strict and good just because he's loud, but really all the yelling is just for show to hide his low swim intellect - every set he gives he is definitely made up on the spot. He is so unprepared and unprofessional that even he himself sounds like he doesn't know his own sets!!! And all of us parents and spectators can see that the kids are just tired and not having fun. Yes there should be a level of intensity, especially for the highest group A, but the training is just plain boring and my kids and all their friends agree too.<br><br>The kids would say "It was hard. I am tired." So I would always ask, "but did you get better? Did you have fun?" No, they did not have fun, and then according to swim meet results, they did not get better either. It looks like all the other athletes are getting worse

  We decided to leave the ACE team because of one coach, Peter. The way he speaks to athletes was very disappointing for our family. Many times he would ridicule or belittle swimmers, and even when he said it was only a joke, the comments were spoken in a very condescending way. We do not think this is acceptable behavior for a coach working with young athletes.<br><br>I want to make clear that this is not the head coaches' fault, and that he & the other coaches we met were all so kind, supportive, professional, & very well-experienced coaches. It is just very unfortunate that one coach's immature behavior affected our experience so much, especially because he was coaching many of the practices sessions.<br><br>Training also become very disappointing. Many of his practices feel repetitive and generic, like same thing over and over. My daughter was not improving much, and it did not feel like there was real coaching experience or attention to helping each swimmer get better. At meets, whe
