Breakfast service isn't included, and the service is terrible; in 15 years as a customer, this is the first time I couldn't even get a cup of coffee

Extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience

I checked into the Courtyard by Marriott at around 2:00 AM, after a long journey, specifically because I needed somewhere to sleep for a few hours. By 6:30 AM, I found a bug in the bed.

I had paid for the room and had even arranged a late checkout, but after discovering a bug in the bed, I simply could not sleep and had to check out much earlier than planned. The entire purpose of booking the room was to get some rest, and instead I spent the early morning dealing with this extremely unpleasant situation.

What was particularly disappointing was the explanation I was given -- that bugs can "creep in through the gaps." That is not an acceptable explanation for a hotel. This isn't an outdoor campsite; this is a Marriott hotel where guests are paying to sleep in a clean, properly maintained bed. If there are gaps that allow bugs into guest rooms, then that is a problem the hotel needs to address, not something a payin

Dear Gurpreet Singh,
I sincerely apologize for the disruption to your comfort, especially after a long day of travel. We fully understand how unsettling issues with pests can be, and I want to assure you that we take this matter very seriously. Our dedicated staff conducts thorough inspections while cleaning, and we also work with a third-party vendor for preventative pest control to maintain a safe and welcoming environment. Additionally, we undergo random inspections by the Health Departmen

However, we sincerely apologize for the housekeeping concerns you experienced and understand your disappointment regarding room service. This is certainly not the level of service we strive to provide. Your comments have been shared with our housekeeping leadership for follow-up. We truly appreciate your patience and continued stay

A great stay overall - quiet, clean, and easy highway access. However, the parking situation was bad - the garage feels too far away from the hotel despite the side entrance, and there was limited regular parking outside the hotel. Also, Marriott, in general, needs to have bathtubs, not showers.
