I had a consultation at the John Theurer Cancer Center today, and I was truly impressed with the entire experience from the moment I arrived.

It started in the parking garage, where a polite and helpful attendant made it easy for me to find a parking spot. When I entered the Cancer Center, I walked up to a kiosk and was immediately greeted by a friendly attendant who helped me sign in. From there, someone came to get me and personally guided me to the next area to complete my registration paperwork.

I then met Tatiana, who was absolutely wonderful. She not only brought me where I needed to go, but took the time to give me a tour and point out important areas such as the lab, pharmacy, cafeteria and restrooms. She walked me all the way to the fourth floor, and along the way we began talking. Tatiana shared some of her own experience, strength and hope from her journey as a cancer survivor. That personal connection meant more to me than she probably realizes and made an alr

Good luck getting an appointment. I called and left messages with the new patient coordinators and they never called back. Luckily, I got an appointment at another cancer facility. Their patient coordinator called me back within two hours after I left a message.

I have been going to the John Theurer Cancer Center since my diagnosis in 2022. The Doctors and Nurses are generally knowledgeable and helpful. However, often times the lack of communication around wait times, billing, and other logistics make this not worth your time. I often have to wait about 45- 60 minutes after bloodwork to see the doctor. Today I waited 90 minutes with no communication and I left. The people sitting at the reception desk were as helpful as they could be, but in the end I didn't get to see Dr. Alter or any of the nurses. No one communicated. I was told the wait would be an hour, after 90 minutes I gave up. I think while you are with the medical professionals they do care about your well-being, however, it is clear that this is a business and the customer service has been getting worse. If you have no other option be prepared to deal with a lack of communcation and long wait times. If you have another option for medical care it is worth exploring. Perhaps another h

We have been going to Dr. Siegel for over 15 years for my mothers multiple myeloma. Dr Siegel is a gifted physician as is his fellow colleagues and nursing staff! We've been through stem cell transplant and many creative and innovative chemo/immuno therapy cocktails which keep mom alive and well. The team at John Theurer has become family and we are so deeply appreciative! A special shoutout to Sammy...the best and most caring valet who is a welcoming fixture to the facility, Karen and Jocelyn the most precise gals at IV and blood draw...(cancer veins are not easy veins), Bill and the nurses in the infusion lab for going above and beyond, and our dearest angel Linda in Dr. Siegel's office for always working one step ahead! We love and appreciate you all!
