  Update from August 2026:<br>I ended up in the area and walked past their sidewalk seating on a beautiful day and decided to try it again after not having a great experience the first time the previous December. The service, food, and vibe of this place has completely shifted to a perfectly crafted culinary experience of quality. I was grateful to be greeted by Chef Mo as I finished my pasta which was perfectly cooked and fresh. The cocktail and panna cotta were also phenomenal. Chef Mo really sets the stage for a perfect dining experience. This place is a must. Go for their happy hour specials (food and drinks) during the week for an amazing deal for this 5 quality dining experience.<br><br>...................<br>Old review from December 2025<br>Disappointed dinner experience.   Panebianco delivered an incredible experience from start to finish. We hosted a large, semi-private party here, and the entire team made it feel effortless and personal.<br><br>Catherine and the entire staff were exceptional, but most importantly, professional, attentive, and extremely accommodating throughout the night. They handled a large group without missing a beat, and every guest had a great time.<br><br>Chef Mo absolutely crushed it on the food. Every dish was carefully prepared, flavorful, and came out consistently throughout the evening, even when catering to a larger party. Each dish maintained its elegance.<br><br>The open bar was a major highlight as well. The drinks were phenomenal, and the bar staff knew exactly what they were doing. Everything was mixed fresh and made to order.<br><br>Great food, great drinks, and even better service.   This is a real luxury for the town of Rutherford. The quality of the food is absolutely outstanding and in my opinion, simply unmatched by the surrounding, although good, restaurants.<br><br>The Italian chef goes far beyond the typical Italian dining experience you find in the U.S., offering authentic, delicious dishes that genuinely make you feel as you were eating in Italy.<br><br>On top of the exceptional food, the prices are very reasonable for the quality and the service team is incredibly warm, welcoming and attentive.<br><br>For context, I'm Tuscan and have been living in the New York area for about 20 years, so I'm quite particular when it comes to Italian food. This restaurant is truly a gem and Rutherford is very fortunate to have it.

  First time visitors here the staff was very nice and accommodating we decided to sit at the bar we actually didn't know there was a bar totally surprised. The bartender was so nice she made is Spicey margaritas it hit the spot after a long day. I ordered a beet salad. It was super delicious. And my wife ordered a savory seafood pasta dish, it was delicious. This place has great italian food. The chef goes out of his way at your request. we are definitely going back next week. You must try this place.
