  They made a mistake on their end and tried to deliver HALF OF A COUCH HAHA<br><br> 1/5 - I wish I could give 0 stars.<br><br>Buying a couch from Pottery Barn somehow turned into one of the most ridiculous retail experiences I have ever had. Literally had to create a case with NJ consumer Affairs and report them to the BBB<br><br>I went INTO the Pottery Barn store in Hackensack and purchased a Cameron Modern Roll Arm Sleeper Sofa with Reversible Storage Chaise Sectional for $980. I worked with their employees in person, paid for the couch, bought the protection plan, and received an order confirmation describing the sectional I purchased.<br><br>Pretty straightforward, right?<br><br>Apparently not.<br><br>About a MONTH later, Pottery Barn suddenly tells me there was a "website/SKU error" and that the $980 I paid was actually for an OTTOMAN/half of the couch.<br><br>Yes.   Today I went there. I'm an interior designer and I regularly have to visit stores and send my clients videos/ photos of the different pieces to show my clients to see if that's the item they could be looking for.<br><br>Today, a worker there was very abrasive and rude and acted like a complete Karen. She was a white middle aged woman with short blonde hair, blue eyes, I believe, thin frame.<br><br>Anyway, my sister was filming me as I was silently laying out swatches over the coffee table to share with my client via a video, so she could see if she liked the coffee table with the fabric swatches of her couch. This bizarre woman who worked there, who very clearly was looking for a fight, came at me telling me I couldn't film there... she was very abrasive, cold and plain rude. Her face was filled with disgust.<br><br>Let me tell you something Pottery Barn, you lost a huge sale because of her! HUGE!   I had an exceptional experience today thanks to Afonso, who helped me select pillows for my living space. He has impeccable style and an incredible eye for design, and his recommendations completely elevated the look I was trying to achieve. He was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping me find the perfect pieces.<br><br>His customer service was truly outstanding, and his expertise made the entire shopping experience enjoyable, effortless, and inspiring. I left feeling confident in my purchase and excited to continue decorating my home. I will absolutely be returning to work with Afonso for more styling advice in the future. Pottery Barn is fortunate to have someone with such talent, professionalism, and passion for design on their team. He made this one of the best retail experiences I've had.
