This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in the U.S. The food is great, and it used to offer equally great service and atmosphere.<br><br>Unfortunately, someone in management seems to believe that playing music at an excessively high volume improves the dining experience. It does exactly the opposite. We had to shout across the table throughout our entire lunch just to have a normal conversation.<br><br>When we asked whether they could lower the volume, the manager told us that it was the restaurant's policy to keep the music that loud. To make matters worse, the loud electronic music dominated the entire space and made what should have been an enjoyable lunch genuinely unpleasant.<br><br>It is disappointing to see such a great restaurant undermine the dining experience with such poor management judgment. Great food deserves an atmosphere where guests can actually enjoy it--and have a conversation without shouting.
