  Very old units built in the 50's. Someone told me these were once military housing and that may not be true but I also can't totally rule it out. Seems like a great deal because the units are generally cheap, but the $800+ per month HOA fee is out of control. No amenities offered here. Kids or dogs can't be on the grass. Rules on rules on rules. The guy who runs the HOA is a nightmare boomer who should have been put out to pasture long ago.<br><br>Parking is assigned for most. The parking lot ok Inwood isn't and it's a free for all. There are cameras mounted there for security, but they're only for show and haven't worked, maybe ever.<br><br>Rampant roach issues here. Just do yourself a huge favor and drive past this place. Horribly mismanaged and out of date.

  Beautiful, Affordable Coop. The units are small, but, compared to a NYC apartment, they are very spacious and affordable. They are in a fantastic area that is walkable to almost everything you need from a gourmet Italian grocery store, H-Mart Korean supermarket, Rite-Aide, great restaurants, delis, gas stations, doctors, parks, buses & vans to NYC, and more.<br><br>Fort Lee community center offers a lot of free, fun exercise classes all week. There are lots of community center events like live concerts, outdoor summer movies, plays, and more. Lots of parks with tennis, basketball, community garden, dog park, pools, etc.<br><br>The Plateau Gardens coop has a garden club, and most coop units have a garden spot to plant your own flowers, etc. And, to put potted plants, including green vegetables like kale. Easy parking. Well maintained.<br><br>Fort Lee has a small town, community feel, yet, is just across the Hudson River and George Washington Bridge from Manhattan. The neighborhood is ve
