We were being spontaneous and went up to Edgewater during the holiday weekend. This was one of the few hotels with vacancy. After entering our room we immediately went back to the front desk to get a refund and decided to drive the almost 4 hours back home.

The whole place has a heavy old feeling & the smell of a previous rat infestation is evident!!<br>My husband & I both agree that breathing the air in this place for too long is unhealthy.<br>To add insult to ugly, I requested another pillow and was told that they don't have extra pillows. Not paying mind to the fact that the queen size bed had 3 small standard flat pillows!!<br>The final straw to this horrible experience is there advertising on Expedia is a lye. They show a jacuzzi room to get you to book & when I pointed out we booked the room with the jacuzzi...the front desk women said they are showing the wrong picture on Expedia! I inquired about the upgrading & was willing to pay a little more! This women said it would be an additional $400 for that room which was not booked for the weekend at all .<br>This motel needs to shutdown & tear up all dirty, stained & smelly carpets, as well as remove the soiled old wallpaper throughout the whole building.<br>The 1 redemption area was t
