Banned Books Week Challenge October 4-10 Stop by the Adults Service Desk to guess the book in the bottle. Here is a clue, while more and more books are banned this book was first banned in 1885 in Concord, MA being cited to be unsuitable for youth. This book is still frequently targeted for the language used to describe black characters. Those who guess the answer correctly will be entered into a raffle to win a $20 gift card. Photographs and/or video may be taken at this event. By taking part in this event you grant the library full rights to use the images for fundraising, publicity or other purposes. This might include (but is not limited to) the right to use them in the library’s printed and online publicity, website, social media, and press releases.
