Screentime Club: Raising Children in a Digital Age (Topic: What Toy Story 5 Gets Right (and Wrong) About Kids and Screens)

Screentime Club: Raising Children in a Digital Age creates a space for caregivers, parents, educators, and children's professionals to come together around one of the biggest questions in modern parenting: how do screens, tech, and play fit into children's lives? Rather than taking a "screens are bad" stance, we focus on conversation — sharing resources, strategies, and research that help parents and caregivers feel informed and empowered, not anxious. Each session (held roughly every 6–8 weeks, with meeting times varying between Saturday mornings at 11 am and Wednesday evenings at 7 pm) explores a different topic, from balancing screentime with hands-on play to navigating AI's growing role in kids' lives. We also invite subject matter experts to facilitate and share current research and insights on how technology intersects with child development, play, and family life.
