September's theme is Mindfulness Meditation for Everyday Life. The optional featured reading selection is Full Catastrophe Living by Jon Kabat-Zinn. (The book is available as an ebook and audiobook on Libby and as a borrow through the BCCLS system.) Taking a pause and returning to the present moment can help counterbalance the distractions and busyness in our lives. Learn mindfulness practices to help you focus, find balance, and live with greater ease. Each class starts with an introduction to theory and brain science, followed by a short gentle movement practice and a mindfulness meditation. Time for questions and discussion will be provided at the end. Classes are held Saturday mornings; come for one or all. Registration is required. Please sign up here to receive the Zoom link.
