On Tuesday, October 27, the Morning Book Club will Discuss The Book of Longings by Sue Monk Kidd. In first-century Galilee, Ana, a brilliant and defiant young woman, longs to give voice to silenced women. Her marriage to Jesus deepens her spiritual and intellectual life as she seeks purpose and freedom in a restrictive world. The Morning Book Club meets on the last Tuesday of the month from 11:00am to 12:00pm. Join us for engaging discussion of popular and thought-provoking books. Books are selected by the group on recommendation of staff. Copies are available for checkout at the downstairs desk.
