Birds in the Neighborhood, Grades K-5

Step into nature. Watch. Learn. Protect. This interactive presentation focuses on twelve birds that are relatively easy to spot in the tri-state area. Participants will learn how to visually identify each bird, then they will listen to the calls or songs of each bird, and then the birds' favorite foods will be discussed. After the presentation, at the Birdseed Bar, participants will use a colorful birdfeeding chart to create a custom seed mix that will attract their favorite birds!

Space is limited to 15 participants. Registration is required per child. Open to Children of Emerson Only, Grades K-5. Please be respectful of the grade requirements.
